Here at the Marine Clinic, Rottingdean, Brighton our Osteopath sees people with all sorts of back pain, shoulder problems, neck ache, joint and muscular tension problems.

Osteopathy is the system of diagnosis and treatment that works on the body framework and takes in to account factors that influence the body such as posture, occupational body use and lifestyle stresses. It uses gentle manipulation and manual techniques to improve function of the body and relieve pain. It is safe, natural and effective.

Today, osteopathy is commonly used in the treatment of: back and neck pain, joint pain including arthritis, visceral dysfunction such as indigestion and irritable bowel syndrome, headache, sports injuries, and tendonitis.

Cranial osteopathy is a very gentle method of treatment and is used in the treatment of children who may have had difficult births or suffered accidents.

Phil Russell graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2001 and has gained experience in several practices in East Sussex.
