Next you will be presented with your patient.
Click on parts of your patient for symptoms,
and various instruments for results.
For example, clicking on the right eye will provide
symptoms about the patient's right eye.
Clicking on the phoropter will give the right and left Rx separately.
The object of the exercise is to come to a sensible
diagnosis within a cost effective structure.
Eg. Checking visual fields will be more costly than checking VA's,
but may produce more in information. We hope you have fun using it.
Clicking on the overhead lamp will shed light on your diagnosis.
Clicking on the diary will get you your days patients listed on a diary page.
These are our first patients using this system.
(The 1st on any Web site to use this as a teaching facility).
Documentation is constantly being updated, and it is hoped that
we will set up a bank of interesting cases.
If practitioners have photographs etc, we shall be pleased to include
their patient in these tutorials.
Anonymity will be kept by using standard photographs to replace each
actual patient.
There are eleven patients listed at present and rooms 12 to 18 are empty at the moment. Room 19
is a teaching clinic.
We hope to have many more soon.
