With patients in rooms 1 to 11 you will be timed. Each time you follow a procedure you are timed, and it is totalled as you go along. To ask about history or health, click on the words. To use equipment, move them by dragging to the patient. Try using the ophthalmoscope by dragging it to your patients left eye. On releasing the mouse, you will obtain a fundus picture. Dilating will give a more detailed fundus image, IF there is more information to divulge.You will need to position the ophthalmoscope again to obtain the dilated fundus picture. Phoropter:- When positioned, click on R and L cells to obtain Rx and VA's Goldmann :- When positioned, click on the Goldmann dial to obtain IOP's. Bio-SLM :- Change magnification by clicking on lens barrel.(higher mag pics not always available) Position the SLM in front of the patient using the Goldmann prism as your alignment device. Drugs :- Open and close cabinet by clicking on it. Drag eyedrops to patient. Make sure you choose the correct drug. Cover/mot:- Click on patient's eyes. OMB:- Click on OMB target on the eyechart. Time yourself. Each procedure is alloted a certain number of minutes. (Your elapsed time is shown in top right corner). For a correct diagnosis and discussion on each case. Click on the overhead light.
